Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Drift Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
