Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Linden Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
