Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Birch Care Services Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
