Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Nashville, TN)

Greenridge Drift Health is a healthcare provider in Nashville with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
