Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Ashton Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
