Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Linden Health runs clinics and patient services around Milwaukee. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 589 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
