Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Yarrow Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Madison. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
