Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Stone Care Services supports families and individuals in Madison with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Madison. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
