Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Orchard Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
