Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Little Rock, AR)

Ironwood Forge Care Services Group supports families and individuals in Little Rock with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 317 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
