Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Knoxville, TN)

Bluepeak Hollow Health Group is a healthcare provider in Knoxville with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills.
