Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Knoxville, TN)

Redstone Ivory Health is a healthcare provider in Knoxville with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
