Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Jacksonville, FL)

Lumen Quill Health provides primary and specialty care in Jacksonville, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
