Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Jacksonville, FL)

Silverline Quill Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Jacksonville. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 133 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
