Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Cedar Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
