Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Hartford, CT)

Clearpath Linden Health is a healthcare provider in Hartford with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
