Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ivory Health Partners and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
