Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bright Ivory Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
