Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Denver, CO)

Harborlight Mill Care Services Group is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Denver. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Denver, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
