Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Dallas, TX)

Summit Sparrow Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for care plans, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
