Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Birch Care Services supports families and individuals in Columbus with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
