Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Lumen Oak Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
