Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Cleveland, OH)

Harborlight Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Cleveland, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
