Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Wren Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
