Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Cleveland, OH)

Northwind Wren Care Services provides in-home and community support in Cleveland. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on lab and specimen handling. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
