Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Cincinnati, OH)

Cedar Lakeside Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Cincinnati, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 455 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
