Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Mill Care Services supports families and individuals in Chicago with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
