Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Boston, MA)

Highbridge Lakeside Care Services Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for visit scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
