Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Atlanta, GA)

Silverline Orchard Care Services supports families and individuals in Atlanta with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our lab and specimen handling. You would join a large organisation of about 919 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
