Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Atlanta, GA)

Nova Orchard Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on lab and specimen handling for licensing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
