Medical Assistant - lab and specimen handling (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Ironwood West Care Services Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be lab and specimen handling. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
