Medical Assistant - clinic support (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Rowan Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
