Medical Assistant - clinic support (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wren Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. You would join a large organisation of about 637 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
