Medical Assistant - clinic support (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Mill Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
