Medical Assistant - clinic support (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Cedar Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. You would join a large organisation of about 579 people based in Reno. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
