Medical Assistant - clinic support (remote)

Bluepeak Forge Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around New Orleans. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
