Medical Assistant - clinic support (remote)

Rivermark Yarrow Health runs clinics and patient services around Austin. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
