Medical Assistant - clinic support (remote)

Fernwood Birch Care Services supports families and individuals in Knoxville with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
