Medical Assistant - clinic support (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Union Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. You would join a large organisation of about 885 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
