Medical Assistant - clinic support (Providence, RI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Cross Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
