Medical Assistant - clinic support (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Oakland, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our clinic support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
