Medical Assistant - clinic support (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Umber Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be clinic support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
