Medical Assistant - clinic support (Louisville, KY)

Northwind Fern Care Services supports families and individuals in Louisville with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
