Medical Assistant - clinic support (Jacksonville, FL)

Westbrook Wren Care Services provides in-home and community support in Jacksonville. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
