Medical Assistant - clinic support (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Birch Care Services supports families and individuals in Houston with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on clinic support. You would join a large organisation of about 847 people based in Houston. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
