Medical Assistant - clinic support (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Hollow Care Services Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on clinic support for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
