Medical Assistant - clinic support (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Houston, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our clinic support. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
