Medical Assistant - clinic support (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Glen Care Services is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on clinic support for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
