Medical Assistant - clinic support (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Harbor Care Services Partners supports families and individuals in Hartford with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our clinic support. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
