Medical Assistant - clinic support (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Sparrow Care Services provides in-home and community support in Detroit, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our clinic support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
